Prospective parents from within the UK can download our St Mikes Application Form and return the completed form to us by email, fax or post. Alternatively, parents can complete and submit an online application. Informal visits and tours of the school are also welcome, prior to submitting an application.
2. Entry requirements and availability check
Upon receiving your application, we can then review your previous attainment, school reports and academic history. We will then contact you to discuss an interview and school tour after reviewing your application. An entrance examination is taken by all prospective entrants to the senior years, whereas Sixth Form entry is contingent on certain GCSE results.
At St Michael’s School, each year we have a small number of academic and sporting scholarships available. All prospective pupils hoping to enter the senior school sit an entrance examination and those scoring sufficiently highly are eligible to apply for an academic scholarship. An entrance exam takes place annually in the first week of November and at a range of other times by appointment. Prospective entrants to any school year can be considered for a scholarship. Scholarships for Year 12 Entry
Scholarships for Year 12 Entry are subject to final GCSE results. In the first instance applicants should submit the following: • Completed Application Form • Report for Year 10/11 along with Mock Exam results or Forecast Confirmation Places offered for Sixth Form are conditional until the GCSE results are received, at which point, provided the entry requirements are met, places will be confirmed.
