Rishi Gupta (Form 4) pictured above with his maths teachers, Mrs. Hilda Dumpleton and Mrs. Kay Francis achieved a merit award in the Intermediate Mathematical Olympiad United Kingdom Mathematics Trust Challenge.
Congratulations to our Form 5 ICT class in successfully aquiring their CLAIT certifications. CLAIT stands for Computer Literacy and Information Technology and shows potential employers that an individual is proficient in using applications on a computer.

Sixth Form 2009
In August 2009 St. Michael’s Sixth Form Students achieved the best A level results in the school’s 86 year history with 70% A grades and 88% A & B grades. The school was positioned 28th in The Times Top 100 Mixed Schools at A level. Seven students gained the grades for medicine and 22 students achieved straight A grades. Viraj Ratnalikar secured his place at Merton College, Oxford to read Economics and Management. As a result the school is experiencing huge demand for sixth form places.

Young Sportswoman Award 2010 - Jade Williams
On Wednesday, 27th January Jade Williams won the Carmarthenshire ‘Young Sportswoman of the Year Award’ at the Stradey Park Hotel in Llanelli. Jade won the Senior Women’s 800m at the Welsh Indoor Athletics Championships at UWIC in January and is now ranked 1st in the UK in her age group.
