Llanelli Half-Marathon
On Sunday 2nd of April, seven members of our staff will be taking part in the Great Welsh Half Marathon. The event will take place along the Llanelli Coast and will start and finish in Pembrey Country Park. For many of the team members, it will be their first half marathon and they are looking forward to getting their running shoes on and taking part!
The team are running to raise money for the Wales Air Ambulance, which is a fantastic charity that we as a school have been very proud to support in recent months. They provide vital 24/7 support in emergency situations and can be the difference in getting a casualty the help they need in time. None of us know when we may need the services of the Wales Air Ambulance, therefore we consider them a very crucial and worthwhile cause.
